Has anyone else experienced problems with the cloud based save game data for The Harvest on Windows 8? Basically what I have been seeing is that it saves the game state locally but it isn't updating the cloud copy of the data. So I'll play the game for a while on one device, say my Surface Pro, and then later decided to load it up and continue on my laptop. I get prompted asking if I want to use the local or cloud data on the laptop but the cloud data does not reflect where I was at on the Surface when I quit. So for instance I had gotten a Raptor up to level 12 on the Surface but the cloud data showed it being at level 8 when on the laptop. I figure it's better than nothing so I load it up and start leveling back up on the laptop replaying several areas of the game... Got back up to level 12 or so. Then when I was back on the Surface the next day the cloud data still showed it being a level 8 Raptor... This is incredibly frustrating! When you keep losing your place as well as any gear/upgrades that you had acquired along the way it becomes a struggle to want to keep playing the same stuff over and over again. And with an RPG style game it especially pisses me off to lose gear that I found since that's all random!! It's not like I can just go back to the same spot to get the things I had... grrrr.... Yeah I know, first world problems and in the grand scheme of things it doesn't really matter. But it's an $7 game directly from Microsoft Studios. You'd think they could at least get the save game stuff working correctly on their own game... *sigh* So has anyone else had similar problems?
