The Lord of the Rings: Gollum game is in development

This is definitely different.
According to a post by the Hollywood Reporter, Daedalic Entertainment is making a The Lord of the Ring game. However, it's not your standard fare, because it's called "The Lord of the Rings: Gollum." You'll be able to take control of the troubled character between the years he found the One Ring and before the start of The Lord of the Rings novels and films.
