The camera module in this "smartphone" is screaming for a tripod socket. Getting fantastic long-shutter-time shots, among other obvious uses. The charger plate wants to be re-integrated with the smartphone; bought one with my 920 and got hooked. The whole thing wants to fit into Levi's 505 pockets. It is heavy but is rugged. With the Joby folding mini-tripod, I always have a tripod. (Kept in my Levi's watch pocket.)

It definitely has benefited because I use the tripod socket very often. Using a tripod for night scenes obviously improves sharpness of stills. Plus, I have manage a couple of short drops without damage.
