I'm a confessed smartphone addict. I have had more phones from different platforms than I'd care to list. My feelings about each platform can be summed up here:
Android - Love the flexibility, and it's the only platform I can block callers on, but hate the way battery drains, even when not in use.
iOS - It's beautiful, but boring. It hasn't changed in years and you have to launch an app to do literally everything. That being said, it has an app for literally everything and the apps usually have the best functionality and look good.
WP7 - It's elegant and beautiful, but some functionality just isn't there yet and app support is terrible.
I have bounced back and forth from platform to platform almost monthly for the last few years. I give Android another chance, love all of the personalization it has, then get frustrated with battery life. It's not that I can't make it through a day. I always can. It's that the battery drains rapidly whether I use it or not. For some reason, that really bothers me. I go back to iOS and I'm happy with battery life, then the simplicity starts to bore me. I go back to WP7 and I'm wowed all over again by the elegance and speed, but find myself missing apps and functionality. Absolutely love the Twitter/Facebook integration and no other platform can match it.
To put it another way:
iOS is the loyal girlfriend who will always take you back and she's stable, but the relationship is on her terms (you're whipped).
Android is that dirty blonde you meet in the club. She's fresh and new and she'll do whatever you want in the bedroom, but if you spend too much time with her, you find that she always wants to go to sleep early and seems to always have some kind of medical problem.
WP7 is the pretty girl you really want to be with, but she's missing something that you need (i.e. large breasts, a round booty, etc.) and every time you get back together with her, the romance fizzles fast, especially when you ask her to try something you saw in a porn and she says she can't.
Disclaimer: I'm currently using a Titan. I bought a Titan II a few days ago and immediately took it back due to a dead pixel and frustration over the fact that it wouldn't sync with my Google account. I picked up a first gen Titan for cheap on Craigs. I also have an iPhone 4s and a Galaxy Note. The 4s is my standby phone and is currently parked. I'm making another go of it with the Titan.
Anyway, that's my story. I'm sure I'm not alone in the "smartphone identity crisis" department.
