The Verge is a disgrace for journalism and freedom of speech.

Today I have received a 3 weeks ban on The Verge.

Why?

I didn't insult, I wasn't rude. No racism or whatever. Guess what, I was anti Apple in a few comments.

I got a few warnings for previous comments and I was blown away by the horrible moderating over there on top of their horrible biased articles. My latest comment was on an article talking about how Apple employees would get a large discount on iwatches. I said this one line: "Cos not even they would buy them.". My previous comments were really not that bad either in my opinion. Lots of normal comments.

Please help me understand if this is a reason to ban. Am I lacking some moral awareness? Is The Verge misbehaving here? Am I not allowed saying something like that? Where is freedom of speech? Looks like this website is ran by a couple of guys under Apple dictatorship that have absolute zero respect for freedom of speech. Many, many people have died for freedom of speech.

It's their site. They have terms of service/code of conduct. Maybe you violated one of those or caught a moderator on a bad day.

We can't help you get unbanned so... Have a nice day.

If your previous posts were on the same line, you were just acting silly, and it's well into their right to stop silly, unproductive comments.
Try and get over your puberty untill then.
