The vibration.

Hey. I just got my Lumia 920 yesterday and don't get me wrong - I love this phone to death, I'll go into more detail later on BUT:

Whenever I get a call, or a text, when the phone makes the heavier type of vibrate, the vibrate is odd.
It sounds like the insides of the phone are vibrating with the phone and
it's kind of scary. It sounds like the phone is gonna break or so,
and something is wrong. Does anyone have this problem on the device? Is it normal?
Does all Lumia 920 do this or is my phone defect?

Thanks in advance you guys.

It's just the way the vibrating monitor has being placed, I really doubt it is a defect since all devices have it. Probably does not help the fact that the device is heavier than your average smartphone.

Got to admit that I really like the vibration sound - it's very different to most phones but I don't mind that at all.

Mine made the phone rattle. It was irritating so I contacted Nokia directly (via Mr. Elop, regular support was useless) and got a replacement. The new one doesn't rattle per say, but the vibrate is still very loud.

I wonder if the vibration power can be turned down in the firmware? It's like a bomb going off :).

It sounds really really really bad. I can't believe that every other phone gets this so right for years now.

I agree with eallen, mine does this and it makes the phone sound cheap. like the body is rattling apart.

Its different. Like a combo sound of a plastic gear turning and optimus prime taking a crap.
