Hi,

Is anybody experiencing a thick line on the right side of the screen with a somewhat yellowish tint that is present only when using the front video camera? Taking photos is fine though. Here's a video of what I'm talking about

I bought the phone on the first Christmas Day and my retailer has already replaced it once. But the problem still persists.

I don't see anything wrong in that video? are you only playing it back on your phone, or are you seeing it from a computer too?

I can see that the ISO is cranked because it's fairly dark in that room (a lot of sensor noise), but nothing out of the ordinary, no yellow tint, no thick line...

Sorry this is a bit confusing, but check the top, it doesn't look yellowish in this video but when I'm in my room and use the camera it sort of does look off. The bluish tint does not cover the entire screen and as a result you see a thick line at the top in the video, and when I hold my phone vertically it is on the right side of the screen.

When you put the screen shot, I was looking at the right side for things, and completely missed that darker bar at the top.
Do you by chance have a screen protector or thick case that may be causing a shadow on the sensor?

Nope, the phone's naked. This is my second lumia 925 and there's still the exact same problem in the exact same place. Interestingly enough there are people who have the same problem who bought their phones months ago. Makes me wonder whether it's even a batch problem.

Is there anyway I can find out what batch number I have? I'd like to try a different batch

same thing is happening to my Lumia 925 when I switch to video mode. I think it is probably a software problem because if it was a hardware problem, this would have happened on Pic mode too. Here are the screenshots. wp_ss_20150111_0002.jpgwp_ss_20150111_0003.jpg

OK, I'd like to hear from people who don't have this problem. Is there anybody out there who doesn't have this? And has anybody noticed this problem after an update? Could Denim update potentially fix this?

It could be a bad batch of sensors that they got. I got my 925 from t-mobile just a couple days over a year ago. I'm currently on the latest official Cyan firmware, and the latest PfD operating system available. I have never had this darker line, but I also never had the "yellow" pictures that others report having too.
