On the 930 do you have to have three rows of tiles?

I had a play on a demo model and couldn't seen the option to change it.

It's only changeable with certain screen sizes - I think anything less than 4 inches, otherwise you don't have the option - since the screen is big enough to handle 3 rows of tiles already.

There are three columns of tiles on the 930 yes. Depending on what tiles you use you can take it down to two on some rows etc. There's just no option to turn it on or off. It's just right under your hands.

I would have liked the option to disable 3rd row on the 930- things like pictures, newsfeeds or people look really slick utilizing the full width of the screen.

Yeah I am not keen on three rows. I like things big a visible.... Got used to two rows.

IF MS WAS ADD NEW TILE SIZES IT WILL BE GOOD.

But forcing people to use something thats MS not fix is shame...

I was surprised third column was not a option for the 930. I can see some cases where people would like bigger tiles... also MS could add super wide tile size with like 1.5 height of the biggest tile height.

If I had 4 inches I would cry every night.

The Nokia Lumia 620 also has an option for three columns and it's a 3.8 inch screen. But I don't recommend it. It's way too small.
