The controller that comes with the Xbox Series X is good, really, it's one of the best, but you can still do a little better. More specifically, you can go down the enthusiast route, looking for improved and even extra buttons, all in the pursuit of gaining an edge.
When it comes to making that step up from the standard controller, the Razer Wolverine V2 is one of the best directions to go. You gain a wire (sadly, but that's out of Razer's hands) but more so you gain an updated design and additional features you don't get from the in-box offering.
