thoughts and rumors on release / ship date of 1TB version of Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book

Has anyone had any inside info - or is there any speculation (based on parts availability or previous release cycles) about the arrival date for the 1TB version of the SP4 & SurfaceBook?

You can pre-order them now on the Microsoft Store site, although the 1TB isn't there. Perhaps the site has a direct contact link. Release date is 10/24.
