Tilt 2

I just ordered a Tilt 2 off ebay. I carry an inspire most of the time but wanted to try a Windows phone. It is running 6.5. Can this be updated to WP7 and if so would that be something I would want to do? Also do I have to have Outlook to sync this phone or will it sync with Windows Mail which replaced Outlook Express as I'm sure you all know. I appreciate any and all answers I receive. Tilt2 cannot be loaded with WP7. Some have done it with an HD2, but not a great experience. Pretty sure you need Outlook to sync but not 100% certain. I still have my Tilt2 as a backup for my Surround. TILT2 was a nice phone, but a bit slow and the WM6.5 OS was a memory hog that often required soft reset. Curious, why did you choose a Tilt2 and not a WP7 device. Price is probably almost the same.

Oh, and for clarification. Windows Mobile (WM) an Windows Phone (WP) are two different things. WM was replaced by WP last November. No further development of WM is planned. WP is. New operating system that syncs with your Live ID and the Cloud. It is very snappy and stable although the OS still lacks some basic features, like custom ringtones and multitasking, which are all coming in a few months.
