Too much hype around Cortana - Do people really use it daily?

I sometimes find it suseful but don't see it becoming indispensable in my daily routine. Same goes for Siri and Google Now. It will need few more years before we come to wow them. That is just my opinion. I was curious as to how other see it.

I use Cortana more than any other feature on my phone besides the regular stuff (IE. Phone, Messaging, Email.) She's the most useful feature of my phone on a daily basis. For example, i do all of the below every day. I don't think she's overhyped at all. Cortana is crucial to the union of my Desktop PC, my Surface Pro 3, and my Lumia Icon.

• I use Cortana's voice recognition for quickly directing me somewhere (IE: Hey Cortana, Direct me to work.)
• I'll often have her take a note for me when i'm unable to write something down myself (IE: Take a note to check page 332 of my Anatomy text book for a great chart on the foot.)
• I'll have her quickly text or call someone when i'm on the road.
• I'll have her set reminders for me to do something.
• I've used her to get restaraunt recommendations
• Track packages
• Check sports scores
• Read the news
• Identify a song that's playing on the radio
• Type text messages from my Windows 10 PC
• Check the weather.
