Torn Between Surface Book 4 or Surface Pro

So I was all set to purchase the Surface Book 4 256 i5 for 1299 plus a 150 student discount and a 150 Best Buy gift card but the Surface Pro is on sale for 1349 i5 128gb plus the 150 student discount the pro's larger screen, better battery and lighter tablet have me leaning toward the pro any advise is welcomed.

I think you've gotten a little mixed up here. It's the Surface Pro 4 and the Surface Book. And the answer is simple: the Surface Pro 4 is a tablet first, the Surface Book is a laptop first. Do you want portability or productivity first?
