Touch CDMA = no wifi hardware or just no wifi software?

Hey everyone!
I've been doing a fair amount of research, and I haven't found a solid answer to the query "Is it possible to activate wifi on the CDMA Touch (without adding any new hardware)?"

Any suggestions? Did I totally miss the boat on this, and the answer was obvious??

The version I have is the 400mhz Telus HTC Touch.

Any help would be great. Thanks.
