Touch/Type covers -do the colors fade?

For those with colored touch/type covers.

I'm currently using black type cover. For 3 years now. Feel like I want to try getting a colored one this time. How do the colors hold up? Do they fade? Does it get a black stain over use? That's what's holding me back.

You're talking about RT right? I can tell you that if the material is the same with the touch cover for the surface RT 1, i would highly recommend you to stay AWAY from white. I saw a white one at a shop and it was almost yellow and brown, looks truly awful.
The red one which is what i have is definitely doing a lot better, but darker compared to what it originally looks like, nothing too serious though. I dont think it would get a black stain, but it does turn a little grey over the edges after some time, which is to be expected, i haven't tried cleaning/wiping it off yet.

Here you go, oh and the cyan is a pretty safe choice as well, mine currently looks a little orange in real life. The white bits on the keyboard are just dust, so you don't have to worry about that.

Thanks man. It doesn't look that bad. It doesn't look faded on those pictures at all. Just the edges kinda splitting but that's what's happening to my touch cover too.
