Trade 950 XL to 950?

I have the 950 XL and it is generally great overall. That said, it is kind of large for my general use. I came from the 735 which is great form factor for me, but is a little too slow for Windows 10 Mobile. I was thinking of selling the 950 XL to buy the 950 since it is a little smaller. Does the slightly slower CPU matter at all? Continuum run just as smoothly?
