Transfer my Data copied 587 records, but nothing in Contacts

Hello,

Please bear with me. I am a novice here).

I purchased an L640 GoPhone, unlocked it immediately. Then, before doing anything else, upgraded to WP10TP (Release).

I have installed a number of apps. Now, in getting ready to make this my daily driver, I want to move my contacts over from my L635...nearly 600 of them.

I have run Transfer my Data twice. It SAYS it copies the information. But when I open the People app, there are no contacts listed.

Does anybody know what is happening/have a solution?

Are you not using the same Microsoft account on both the phones? If yes, contacts should have shown up already.

Thanks for the thought. Yes, I am using the same account on both phones.

Worked fine when I used it to move copy contacts from my 521 when I got the 635. And from the 635 to a 520 I forgot to back up before installing WP10 IP (it didn't go so well).

So, I am a little stumped here.

I had same problem after upgrading to wp 10. A hardreset got the problem solved

Not a quick solution, but I can call people and I know who is calling
