Back them up through google.

Im not sure about other AT&T stores, but the cellbrite machines (the machines used in contact transfers) do not support windows phone 7 phones yet. either to do sim to phone, or google to phone

If you were using BB desktop to push to your outlook contact list to your old JavaPhone (haha!), use the outlook hotmail connector to push those contacts to the live/hotmail account you are using as your primary. They should sync over nicely.

Or use the BB desktop software and export contacts into a file (CSV?) that you can upload to Google or Windows Live. I wouldn't recommend uploading it to both services, since syncing the phone afterwards will result in linked contacts with duplicate info (minor nuisance)

Take the SIM card from your BB witht he contacts on them

-put in Wp7 ,
-go to PEOPLE HUB ,
-click and hold PEOPLE ,
-sellect setings ,
-IMport SIM contacts.

IF NOT ON SIM!

- sucks
- coppy all contacts to your LIVE ID ( probly manually )
- boot up your phone
- DONE!

No need to copy them manually. Can export them from the BB as a file, then upload the file to Google/Live, and sync the phone from there. I did it that way and it was a breeze.
