Transparent WallPaper in mango

Does anyone know if transparent wallpaper is still working in mango. Also if I have a lock will it still work.

I tried a transparent PNG I used to use and it's still not working properly. The Date & Time is all over it until it is moved upwards slightly and it then looks as it should.
