Treasure tag will not work on my lumia 1020 as remote shutter button

My treasure tag pairs/connects to my phone but when I press the treasure tag button it just rings the phone rather than taking photos as a shutter button with my lumia selfie app. Phone uses Lumia Denim software. Any ideas how I can get the treasure tag to work properly. Thanks

Can't help with the question but don't expect to uninstall and reinstall the TT app. It is no longer in the store for Win 8 phones
