Trimble Juno t41/5, can it be upgraded to a newer OS?

Trimble Juno t41/5 upgrade

My current OS is windows embedded handheld 6.5 professional. I want to upgrade this to a newer OS. Can this be done?

The simple answer is no. Trimble may have an incremental .X firmware package but you will still be on their 6.5 branch. There is absolutely no way to move to a new OS, if by new you mean one of the modern OSs that replaced Windows Mobile\Embedded. Sorry but it is the nature of life with those types of devices....
