Turn by Turn Navigation Questions

All right so I have had my Lumia 950 for about 2 months now, and enjoy it for the most part. Switched from iOS, but one of the biggest things I use my phone for other then music in my car is GPS (turn by turn). The issues is when plotting a route short/long doesn't matter the maps stops working and then wants me to pull a U-turn etc... like it loses signal or freezes. If I manually double click the map it will sometimes refresh. Anyone else have this issue or no of a fix? I have had this issue with all Navigation Apps (5) I have tried including stock.
