turn off nfc alert sound

I carry my Lumia 920 in a wallet-style case, and have a NFC-enabled card in it.

Whenever I make a call i flip the cover, and the NFC alert sound will start chiming. Is there any way to turn this sound off, without turning off any NFC-features?

I may be wrong here, doesn't hurt to give it a try though.

Under Ringtones + Sounds you can uncheck System alerts. I believe that will stop the sound.
