Hello,
After seeing many people having problems with installed apps that are missing in the app list, I wanted to write a tutorial on how to uninstall them. This only works for apps or games with an URI-scheme and apps listed in "Camera Lens".
Uninstall apps with URI-schemes
1. Check if the app you want to get rid of has an URI-scheme here: http://blog.mrlacey.co.uk/2014/03/325-windows-phone-apps-you-can-launch.html If not, you can't use this method.
2. Install URI (URI | Windows Phone Apps+Games Store (United States))
3. Keep the app open in the background, go to "date+time" in settings, and set the year to 2106 or later.
4. Open the "URI" app from the multitasking menu again, write the URI-scheme for your app in the URI field and click "launch".
5. It will tell you that there was a problem with the app, and an uninstall button will appear. Press it.
6. Change the year back to 2014.
Uninstall Camera Lens apps
1. Go to "date+time" in settings, and set the year to 2106 or later.
2. Go to Camera Lenses in Microsoft Camera, and try to launch the app from there.
3. It will tell you that there was a problem with the app, and an uninstall button will appear. Press it.
4. Change the year back to 2014.
-----
For other apps that can't be uninstalled with these methods, I sadly don't have any other solution than hard resetting.
