I went to pick up my Cyan Lumia 900 on Friday and had two great experiences. I went to one store and when I walked up to the counter I saw two people buying Lumia 900s and the sales people were all demonstrating their personal phones.

When I said I was interested in buying one they were excited and told me how much they liked the new phones. One of the sales people even said how much better it was than his old Android phone because it didn't crash all the time.

They ended up not having the Cyan model so I went to the Corp store down the road. It was almost the exact same scene there. They were very pumped about the phone and the advertising was beautiful. The Lumia posters all over the store looked great and the videos were well done.

I love my phone - my GF is very excited because I plan to give her my phone when the pureview nokia phone comes out.

I think Nokia and Microsoft will have a great future in the smartphone world. Their products are just too nice too fail.

Make sure to wait for the Pureview/Lumia, not the Symbian 808 ;)

PureView 808 with Symbian isn't coming to the U.S. market anyway, which is fine because it's an obsolete OS that Americans are unfamiliar with. They have enough work ahead just to get Windows Phone recognized as a viable option for most people.

I'm sure we will see a Windows Phone with the same PureView technology though, it's only a matter of time.

I'm excited for the Pureview WP. I just hope for 2 things:

1. Nokia doesn't ruin it by cheaping out with a FSI sensor like they did on the 800/900.
2. They don't use the HORRENDOUS styling that has surfaced already.

As long as these aspects pass inspection, and they up the spec to make it a truly premium device, it's my next phone.

I also had a very positive experience at the AT&T Wireless store near me. The salesman was very bright and attentive and seemed to understand the platform. This is good news!
