Unable to connect to Xbox - Xbox One SmartGlass

Anyone else having problems connecting to their Xbox One with their Surface Pro?

I just keep getting the error "Unable to connect at this time." 0x8000001F

Are you sure that is the whole error code? Usually those codes bring back a lot of results...that one has nothing.

So the SmartGlass app work even if you aren't trying to connect? The Xbox One SmartGlass works stand alone too, where you can send messages or view your pins and stuff.

I apologize. I did leave off part of the error code (the "0x" part). I've updated the previous post. To anyone else reading this thread, I did find a post on the Xbox Forums regarding the error. I haven't tried their workaround yet (I'm at work), but if anyone else is experiencing the problem, it may be worth a shot.

I'm also having this problem. I can connect fine from my Lumia 920 and my wife's iPhone 5S but I get the same error as the OP when trying to connect from my Surface Pro. I'll check out that thread and see if I can get it working.

i got the same issue after installing Visual Studio 2013
and it because smartglass is trying to connect via the hyper-v net adapter...

Delete the hyper-v bridge and it shult work again...
