Unable to download Build 10.0.10149, receiving Build 10.0.12648.133 instead

I have a Lumia Icon and to date have been unable to download WP 10.0.10136. Instead WP Build 10.0.12648.133 continues to arrive during the update process (even this morning). I was hoping that I would have better luck (still unable to install WP 10.0.12648.133) with the release of WP Build 10.0.10149. Does someone understand what is happening? Is this a Verizon issue? Is this a Lumia Icon issue? Is this a GSM versus CDMA issue? Is there any way to correct for this? The standard reset "solutions" simply have not worked for me. Your suggestions would be welcome. Thank you.

WP Build 10.0.12648.133

This is build 10149.

10149 is the build number whereas 10.0.12648.133 seems to be the equivalent OS version number.

yeah it stay at 0% and nothing ... i do a hard reset after that but agein no change

I had the same issue on my Lumia 625 (running Win 10 build 10136).
I had to rollback to WP8.1 and it is now currently installing.

I left mine downloading overnight, in the morning it said it was ready to install. Pushed the button, it processed for a while then failed with c0000005.

Now it's downloading again, currently stuck at 9% for the past half hour. I think I am about to do a rollback on this one and try again.

This is build 10149.

I noticed on my OS Version used to say 10.0.12634.131 for 10136 then it changed to the actual build number of 10.0.10136


This however, is correct for the new build, no worries

You can either
1. hard reset then install Windows Insider app and update to 10149
2. install 10080 and then update to 10149
3. Rollback to WP8.1 and then update to 10149

After 100% download and 100% ready to install , i'll let the mob restart and go to sleep , then i found no change in the phone and i have to download the update again !!!

installed fine with no issues on my 640 xl, icon, 830 and 1020. The 640XL seems to run the best out of my phones.

My Icon will download it and install it but then get to the cog wheels and spin for a bit and reset over and over again, until the recovery tool is able to read the phone and install the 8.1 software to go back. I have tried 3 times with the same result each time.

Did you manage to find a fix for this? Got the same thing on a test device, Lumia 435. Also, are you trying to go from WP8.1, or from a previous Windows Insider Build?

This time I've activated Developer Preview on the device, which is currently downloading a later version of Windows Phone 8.1 - Wondering if this will help with the update to 10149, as I'm having the same issue you are.

It's not clear to me yet what's actually causing it. My friend went from 10080 on the same model phones (also a test device) and that worked okay for him - However this phone I have was rolled back to WP8.1 and it doesn't seem possible to goto 10149 on it after many attempts and rollbacks.
