Sometimes in life, its the little surprises that get you. So my 1020 got dropped and the glass panel broke but the digitizer was intact so the phone was still fully functioning. Unfortunately though a few weeks later it suddenly stopped charging and wouldn't power on(an internal battery issue, totally not my fault). So I sent it to Nokia for repair but they sent it right back due to the broken screen which voided the warranty and they marked it as beyond repair on their systems. So I got the screen fixed through work and then proceeded to return it to Nokia who upon receiving it informed me that they had received my Lumia 1020 64GB. My phone was only 32GB. A few days ago they sent me an update email which I couldnt retrieve and i assumed they were just letting me know that they weren't going to repair it or that I needed to pay.
Today to my surprise I received the phone back. Not only did they fix it but also doubled my memory.
Now aside from the luck with the memory, this was an example of excellent customer service.
Thanks MS/Nokia
