I'm running on windows 10 in Google Chrome.
I did a system restore last night/early hours, but after completion found I'd lost files and I want to UNDO this. I've begun the process of undoing the restore following instructions but I get to the part where I'm to click on 'undo restore point' but the page that it's on doesn't show up but I get the restore point date & time page. This is another problem, there is only one restore point to select.
Date & Time: 31.7.19 @ 10.18pm. Description: Windows Update. Type: Critical Update.
I assume this is the system restore I did last night/early hours.
I'm going round in circles and getting very frustrated.
I'm not computer savvy so any answers in plain English please.
Can anyone help me? I'd really like to get this sorted out asap.

If that's the only restore point, then there's no way to bypass that afaik. What kind of files did you lose?

You might have to consider a recovery program that detects erased files etc. 50/50 chance of recovery.
