Unlock phone on PC ?

Hi everyone,

I accidentally dropped my phone (Lumia 950XL) yesterday and the screen is now broken (I have the vibration when it boot up and 2 or 3 pixels twinkle) and is not-responding.

I searched on the M$ support and I saw that if I send it, I will have an other 950XL (they won't try to change the screen). I have precious datas (pictures, SMS) in it but I can't get them because I am not able to unlock the phone. I tried with Continuum but all I have is "Unlock your phone to continue".

So is it possible to unlock my phone with my PC (or anything else) so I can get my datas ?

Unfortunately, this cannot be done - otherwise this would have been a huge security flaw. Try taking your phone to a service center and give them specific instructions that you need to recover your data.

In find my phone you can choose lock and set the pin. I wonder if you can set to an empty pin to clear it. Probably not, but maybe worth a look
