Unlocking Nokia Lumia 900?

Is there any way, besides the now defunct Chevron unlocker to unlock the Lumia or any WP7?

Yes. Register for a Developer account with Microsoft. Cost is $99/year. And I believe you can unlock up to 3 devices at a time. Oh, and aside from being able to sideload apps (only non-interop unlock apps), you can also develop, as you now have an account.

This is what I have been using the past two years to sideload. Legitimate and legal. But costly. Fortunately, Nokia paid for this years registration with their $100 credit through AT&T.

Or a student account with DreamSpark if you have a .edu e-mail address. It goes through like a paid developer account would, but the amount of apps you can sideload is lower. You get 1 year for free.

I became a member for developer program. How can I unlock lumia 900 from membership? What steps did you follow?
