unlocking your phone - pros and cons

Just picked up a 1020 from att store. I am a converted iPhone user and hope to never go back. My wife on the other hand is threatening to never cook me dinner again if I don't get her back on an iPhone. I am trying to promote the advantages of WP and have a question unlocking the 1020.

I am a longtime att customer in the usa. I may do some international travelling. What are the pros and cons of obtaining an unlock code and unlocking your phone?

Pros is it's unlocked and you can use on any carrier that supports the frequency bands. The only con I would see from AT&T is that you are only allowed to unlock 5 devices per account per year but that shouldn't really affect most people since rarely do people unlock more than 1 phone every other year. Right now its not easy unlocking a 1020 so ymmv depending on who u get on the phone.
