I received an update notification for 'Display' when I went into the store. When I clicked update the 'Display' app did not update and I received an error alert. Any way to correct this? I'm on a L640. TIA.

could you check whether the app is installed on memory card or internal storage? if on sd card move it to phone memory.

It was. I moved app from SD Card to device and download worked. When I went back to storage to move app back to SD Card a message said publisher of app doesn't allow app to be moved. Error code reads: 0x80073d01. Many apps can't be moved to SD Card, unfortunately. Time for a phone with bigger internal space. Thanks for your help.

You cant move the display app to sdcard as it is a system app . The installation is bugged on first boot when the system wrongly installs the app to sdcard.

I can't get display to install either. Same thing. Error, see datails and tapping it only gets the download to retry. I don't even have the phone set to install apps to SD Card either. I shut the phone off and pulled out the sd card just to test. Rebooted it and tried the download again without the sd card in it. Same error. Date and time are correct. Everything else I had to update worked fine (Xbox, fb messenger, calendar). Any ideas?

UPDATE: Figured it out. I have NO IDEA how this app was installed to the SD card since I've never used that option with this device BUT it was definitely on the SD Card. Open Settings > System > Storage > SD Card. Tap Apps & Games. Tap display and then Move. Choose This Device then go back to the Store and update. File this under WTHeck?
