Hello Folks,

today I enrolled in the Windows 10 for phones preview to grab the 8.1 update 2 on my Lumia 920 as this is a prerequisite for installing Windows 10.

Now, I don't actually want Windows 10 on my phone just yet as the tech preview is not ready for daily use. However now my phone constantly reminds me that there is the windows 10 preview ready for download. Is there some way I can get rid of this update nag? I already tried uninstalling the windows insider app, but to no avail. It'll still ask me to update to W10 TP.

You should not have done that if you had no intention of "upgrading" to 10 now. As that's what the program is for.

You were never supposed to stay on Update 2, you will have to roll your device back or face the 10. (consequences)

Just ignore it as long as you can. Go to phone update and make sure everything automatic is turned off.

A factory settings "hard reset" will get rid of it and leave you where you are but also all your data and settings are gone when you do that.

I find the build that came out today allready a lot more stable and usefull. (Yes i run in on my daily )
