updated my SB today with latest firmware updates 8 of 13 updates failed to install!!

hey guys,

I'm wondering if any one else has experienced this problem or has the solution.

8 of the 13 updates has failed to install, and when I go check for updates it says my computer is up to date. but when I manually go to check driver versions and update times it confirms that they did not install.

the ones that failed to install:
-Intel Corporation driver update for Microsoft Camera Rear
-Intel Corporation driver update for Microsoft Camera Front
-Intel driver update for Intel(R) Imaging Signal Processor 2500
-Intel Corporation driver update for Intel(R) Control Logic
-Intel Corporation driver update for Intel(R) CSI2 Host Controller
-Intel Corporation driver update for Microsoft IR Camera Front
-Intel driver update for Intel(R) AVStream Camera 2500
-Microsoft driver update for Surface Camera Windows Hello

any one have the same problem or the solution to try and install them again?

Restore to the point just prior to the update and then try reinstalling them again. Happened to me last time.

I tried that it only re-installed the updates that had successfully installed last time. any other ideas anyone?

This happened to a number of people with the 2/17 firmware update, and there are already threads about the same situation on the MS support forums. Last time, they offered a standalone installer for the folks whose machines would fail to update no matter what. I don't know if they've already released these updates in that form, but you should check out the MS support forums: Surface - Microsoft Community
