Updates for twitter app??

Its been months that twitter has not released any updates and honestly, the app we have sucks atm. Any ideas if twitter will be updating their app sooner or later?

I've been in the Aeries beta program. Super super nice app. The Twitter app is the worst.

Twitter app is good enough for normal user like me, I don't really find an issue but yeah updates are always welcome. Aries too is good but its in early days of developments (No support for push notification yet) and we are yet to see many updates from the app. Apart from Aeries, I think peregrine is another FREE third party app which comes with push notifications and covers many features, though the UI is real bad

It's too late for updates to the current version. Microsoft should help Twitter to develop a universal app for Windows 10.

Too bad that official apps don't get updates regularly.. Even instagram

I don't understand why MS don't just release a version similar to Facebook, but using the Twitter API's. That's possibly a reason Twitter hasn't been updated for so long... Twitter are waiting for MS to take over the reigns?

Anyone tested yet whether you can upload an image without getting the dreaded "General Error" message?
