Upgrade from 8.10.12393.890

Last night I was trying to get Upgrade 1 for 8.1. I'm currently running 8.10.12393.890 on a Lumia 1020 with Cyan. So I downloaded The Nokia restore automatically got an update of firmware, but it kept the same OS. I never had an option to restore the phone back to 8.0 as many sites reported you could do.

I'm currently in Bolivia (my Country/Region is set up as US in the phone) and at least with the firmware upgrade I was able to get Cortana.

Anyone been able to get Upgrade 1? Is it still on hold? and are there any other workarounds to try and get it?

Update 1 isn't available to the general public yet. You need to subscribe to the Preview for Developers program, sign in (it's free), and then check for updates like normal.
