Upgrade to W10M - all apps compatible?

Using the Upgrade Advisor app, my Lumia 1520 and wife's Lumia 640 are both compatible for the Windows 10 Mobile upgrade.
If we upgrade, will it keep all our apps and settings as they are now? Or are W8.1M apps not compatible with Windows 10 Mobile?

yes you will have all your apps and settings after upgrade to windwos 10. Also a few apps may malfunction because of incompatibility.

they are compatible adn you can use them. But they are not very stable and can crash randomly.

gestures beta is not, others will crash 40% more often, but UWPs from most 3rd parties are just as crash prone anyway, like facebook's apps

if you're just upgrading out of boredom I suggest you stay on 8.1 if you like how things are there, but if there's a specific w10m only feature you need then yea its okey
