It doesn't matter what ISP you have or what internet you use, if you're using a modem or router provided by the company you're subscribed to, you're paying for that modem and router. It's probably a monthly fee you're not even aware of. Buying your own system means saving that money every month, so a new modem or router could pay for itself after just a little while. And it'll most likely be much better than whatever it is you're using now.
