UPS Backup

I have a UPS battery backup unit that needs a battery. Just purchased the battery. Is it ok to use the battery back up with a low battery?

Sorry, unable to understand what you exactly want to say. But as per my understanding Its ok to use low battery but your backup time will be limited to the capacity of the battery strength. So, it's always suggested to use balanced battery to get reasonable backup and also for the safety of the components which are attached to it.

Well it happens that the backup was not used in a while. So the battery inside charged fully and working great.
