Use CHUWI LapBook Plus 15.6 inch Laptop 4K with an external 4K monitor...?

[Windows Central Question]

I have a 4K Viewsonic Monitor, but unfortunately, my graphics card will only offer a 1080 viewable option via my laptop.
This laptop (4K screen) would seem to be the answer to my problem since I cannot upgrade my software graphics chip.
Would anyone like to make a comment to support my question or suggest I downgrade to a regular monitor...?

Why can you not upgrade your GPU? Is it because you have a laptop? If so, then yes, your two choices are to downgrade or purchase a new laptop that is capable.
