I have tried to configure Outlook email on my Tilt WM6.0 to use my regular SMTP server for sending emails. No dice, every time I try I get the error that messages cannot be send even though all of my info and authentication are correct. I have used the format of server : port (i.e. smtp.whatever.com:465) as suggested in other forums but still nothing.
I found the temporary fix of using cwmx.com as the SMTP server but still I'd like to use my own for security reasons. Any ideas out there that can help? anybody has bee succesfull using their own SMTP servers in AT&T?
