Used Icon - 30 day Return

Hey all,
Got a question hoping some might counsel me on.

I just purchased on Ebay a used Icon which works really well except that it get hot at the bottom, particularly in the bottom right corner. I found sites where others experienced this same issue.

is this normal for ALL icons?

Should I return it and try buying another? I want to move my wife because of the savings vs buying an iPhone 6 and we're totally in the windows eco.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Found one other issue. Apparently, while charging this Icon, the keyboard goes wacky. When you type the letter A, you get A and some other letters with just one push of a letter. In other words it's detecting random letters and giving me gibberish.

I think I have no choice but to return it.

I'm still interesting in picking up an Icon however, so I'd still like some feedback if I should expect the heating issue in that lower region of the screen.

Auggy,

It sounds like you have a defective Icon. I had the same problem with an Icon that actually got damaged during the cycle when MS had major battery issues with windows 10 mobile updates for the Icon. One of those updates caused major overheating and damaged my Icon resulting in the same symptoms you are experiencing. I now have 2 Icons running the latest builds without any heating issues.

Thanks for that. I put in for the return. It also overheated in 8.1 while browsing. But thank you for the information.
