Using phone to pay at checkouts

This feature was one of the reasons i chose this phone

Nokia Lumia 920 does not have an embedded secure element. So it cant be used for making mobile payments. Hopefully ATT will release a sim with e secure element soon.

NFC is an overrated battery sucker, just like LTE. I'll keep both off and keep using plastic. Soon we'll all just have QR codes tattooed on our wrists anyway.
