After Nadella became CEO, the condition of UWP apps have worsened. Many developers left the eco system, many apps disappeared, some opened but prevented us from logging in, many did not get an update after WP8.1 and many new apps that could have come never actually came. Some companies that showed deep interest in Microsoft's platform like PayTm, IRCTC (official Indian railway reservation app that first arrived on Win 8.1, was not available even on Android at that time) and Colors pulled their apps completely after seeing the moves of Mr. Nadella.
