Hi,

I have an HTC Radar and while I do like like it, I am really into the Lumia 800/900 design... Does anyone know if there are any variants of the 900 that are compatible with T-Mo's AWS HSPA network (1700/2100)? Thanks!

Nothing but rumours so far. Wouldnt hold my breath, Tmo seems content to carry the low end stuff so we'll probably never see any high end WP device from them.

The ATT might have the 1700/2100 band already in it. The FCC documents showed a 1700 WCDMA band in the 900 and the rogers box shows a WDCMA 1700 band. The problem is getting a sim unlock code. ATT isn't giving them out yet and sim unlock companies are having a delay on getting them to people. So it might be a few weeks before we know. I am suppose to get my code by late tonight so I will report anything once i get it carrier unlocked.

Hm...unless the 1700/2100 bands are GSM/HSPA, I don't think it would work:( But then, I'm no expert, so maybe it will.

Their 710s stated that it didn't have a 1700 WCDMA band when it actually did, so rodgers isn't accurate for their lumia devices

Even if it had AWS, the problem will be with updates, since it will still be a Canadian carrier branded phone. Not sure how good they have been so far with updates but thats a big potential issue to consider. Much better to get a Tmo phone, as they have been good with updates so far or an unbranded one.
