VBA8 Saved Files?

So I purchased VBA8 and I downloaded my pokemanz ROM from my Skydrive and I downloaded the save state as well (That I've been using on my old Android emulator), but for some reason I can't access it.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong..It's kind of annoying. halp

How did you have it saved on your device? Via the app? or via the game? that will make all the difference.

Well i did mine through skydrive and i was able to locate it but how do u load it on your PC through a VBA emulator there? i got errors.

Im wondering this same thing. VBA8 fails to load the save state for a game that I downloaded from Skydrive (using the Import Save feature). I know its there, but its not being loaded. I also know I had to download the rom through skydrive on the web, seeing as it failed to properly download it from the built in skydrive integration.

Perhaps skydrive integration is broken? All I know is the save state I have works fine in VBA (desktop), but VBA8 says it downloads it, but fails to load it.

i think i found a solution:
go to the settings, and in general you have to activate "Automatically increment save state"
it worked for me...

Guys, the saved file name needs to fit with the same name of the rom.

after i changed the names, it works fine on my VBA8.


Now, anyone knows if there?s a way to trade pokemons via bluetooth or any other method?

I also really want to know if there's a way to trade through VBA8. I'm playing Pokemon Red and my brother has Blue on the same emulator and we really want to figure out how to trade with each other. We tried with the "start link" option and it didn't seem to do anything.
