Considering we are now almost 8 months since the original post, can anyone share some new thoughts on this paid with a win10 phone?

Witness seems to think it's quite a bad experience! I am looking at getting one this holiday season So appreciate some feedback on the latest app updates and watch model.

I love(d) mine...
One of the last updates bricked my original unit. They sent a replacement and the update worked fine and actually improved it quite a bit and the text and everything on the unit was actually crisper. However, two days in with my replacement unit while trying to use the new "Dismiss All" notifications capability it froze and has not left that screen. I am currently dealing with support to try and resolve this issue.
