Verizon Samsung device in January

Just spoke with a Verizon rep a few minutes ago. I had voiced interest in the HTC 8x...he said they were informed today by "a big man upstairs " that Verizon is getting a Samsung model in late January. He didn't have specs, but said they were told high end phone, big screen aimed at competing with Galaxy S3, Droid DNA, etc. He said they were told could get pushed back to early February, worst case scenario.

No way. I can't wait that long. Looks like its HTC 8X for me. I hope we hear something official soon.

a Samsung Ativ Note would be Beautiful. wouldn't be surprising Sammy would make a Ativ Note. because Sammy is basically treating Windows as it's productivity line

HTC likely they'll do a 5 inch Windows phone next year and not really surprising if Nokia did it as well.

So glad I gave up the hunt for the Ativ and went for 8x. I am loving it now
