I have had 4 Lumia phones before this 830 which I purchased from Nokia store in Thailand (not a copy) First the main camera stopped working, then the selfie camera stopped, now the windows button does not respond at all, I am in Australia, and they will not fix under warranty here, that is when you have to post the phone to them and then wait, the Nokia service here is just about non-exsistant at best.
I have hard reset three times, soft reset, but no change. I like the windows phone, but sadly this will be the last time I buy one.
Anyone have any advice at all? Buy another phone? again???

You have been unlucky with your handset and perhaps unwise in buying it in a foreign country.

That could happen with any phone. The internal memory on my boss' Galaxy S5 crapped out months after purchase and the phone needs replacing. My brother-in-law is on his third iPhone 6. These things happen. Just let it be a lesson to thoroughly test a phone you know you cannot get replaced or fixed before you leave that country.

As for your problem now, if you can't get a replacement, perhaps try to sell it as-is on Ebay (make sure to note what the problems are in your listing) and use the money towards a new one.

My HTC One M8 (Android) is now doing things on it's own. Very weird random things like calling people or opening apps for no reason, just about 1 year after release. It happens... Considering how much they pack into these things I think it's only going to get worse.
